1. @manton granted, previous buyers said the same and it appears that they barely touched it. I don’t know though if it was because of their priorities or the code add is bad or difficult or they had too large plans.

  2. @jacob I’d guess that it’s difficult for some companies to acquire an app and make it a priority. Not the first Mac app that has gotten lost in a larger company.

  3. @jacob @manton I wonder if Plausible couldn’t find out how to recoup the costs of modernizing VoodooPad just by selling copies of the new version, even at Omni Group prices for both macOS and iOS.

  4. @jacob Plausible said for years they were modernising it, all while the user forum collected spam. I gave up on them long ago. Fingers crossed for the new owners.
