For the first time ever, I bought myself a 7-string guitar. It may prove useful on a few songs in my cover band’s next performance. Also, I hope to make a use of it in my own music later. And it’s a nice one, too. IYKYK.

The last week or so, I’ve been working on migrating my 4 Wordpress blogs (all related to Apparent Software) to Astro-based sites, hosted on CloudFlare. Two are now live (cashculator.app and eter.apparentsoft.com), ImageFramer’s is in progress and Apparent Software blog is next.

I wanted to try the new Sites feature in Codex, so I asked it to make a little info site about 🎸 Jeff Beck’s career.
And it somehow came back looking like it had been designed by a music magazine. Very impressed: https://jeff-beck-sound-first.apparent.chatgpt.site/

I’ve found a TextExpander snippet that I used for support. It mentioned the previous name of our app, Trickster, “Blast”. When we released version 2.0, we renamed it to Trickster. This was in June 2012. So this snippet is about 14 years old now, at least. A Blast from the past, pun intended.
